Milton’s Mayor, Gord Krantz is the longest serving Mayor in Canadian history.... he broke former Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion’s record of 36-years in 2016.
Along with his now 46-years as Mayor, Krantz was also a Town Councillor from 1965 to 1980, he celebrated 60 years of public service in December of 2025.
I have the pleasure of speaking with Gord each month for Halton News, and was thrilled when he chose to give me the exclusive announcement that he would once again be running for Mayor in the 2026 Municipal Election.
